.fascinate Macau.

If I'm asked to summarize my trip, I can barely do it well as there was much mixed feelings involved. From a state of feverish excitement to an opposing state of slight dismay, I fail to sum up my Macao trip in a simple sentence. Well, nothing can be made perfect. Despite being chagrined for a couple of times, I did enjoy myself. Hopes for my pork bun and the bird-nest-tart were dash the minute we arrived as Sands made us waited. Nevertheless, we managed to grab a quick bite of the famous pork bun but unfortunately not the best. Nvm. Portuguese tart was nice but I claim that it's still not the best. Phew. There's where my frustration was. Well, too bad. Guess I'll have to make another return. No worries, it's quite foreseeable and I'm looking forward to it. Maybe I can write a better one the next time. Sorry to let you down if you've have anticipated something interesting from me.

Well, my first ever experience to a casino. Secretly, I prefer clubs more than a casino. Maybe it's because I loathe gambling. I hate it. I just appreciate other ways of having fun but gambling. It was smoky and everyone there seems to be under an alcoholic haze. I somehow doubt their luck by gambling under such atmosphere. Well, told you I'm not a gambler. At least I had a glimpse of what casinos look like. No regrets, and no 2nd visit. :)

Weather. I love the weather there. And, the part that caught me overjoyed is that I'm able to dress up the way I've always wanted to! Though it did annoy Joe to some point as he took ages to wait. Thanks for his patience :p *muacks* Too bad it turned out to be a fashion show of mine rather than a shopping spree. I didn't manage to shop a lot. I couldn't figure out whether it was the trend in Macao or it's me. I kinda lost my interest in shopping. Oh god, please don't do this to me. I need my urge back.. (there must be someone out there cursing me..hmm)

Accidents. I knocked my leg on the table and hurt my calf. It wasn't a mere cut, it was a bad bruise. Gillian, blur as usual. And alongside the supposed-to-be shopping spree, the other calf of mine was aching. Wth. If I wasn't mistaken, Joe told me that's a sign. A sign to stop dashing into stores without hesitation. Opps, did I just mention how desperate I was? ish. Yet, it didn't quite stop me. Joe was amazed by the fact that his gf can actually continue hopping around, trying out different pairs of shoes despite the pain she has. Guess he secretly thinks that I'm some sort of wonder woman. Haha. Yes I am when it comes to shoes, my dear. :)

Sigh, I miss HK already. Mom declared that this will be the last trip to HK. But, I concluded that it's OUR last trip to HK. I myself will return in future with my spending power. Haha.

Well, new year. Much to expect and more to work hard for. There's this quote that I couldn't get it out of my mind where it kept miraculously repeating itself. Here it is for me to share.

"The world is a playground. But somewhere along the way, people tend to forget how to enjoy."

Simple yet clear cut. I love it. Yeah, I've only bought a ticket to this humongous playground. I am yet to enjoy. But I'm ever ready. To conclude, I've learnt a lot throughout this trip and I guess I can be a better traveller in future.
